Iranian President Hassan Rouhani approved the Mejlis bill, according to which the Pentagon is recognized as a terrorist organization

The project is an amendment to the law passed in Iran last April, under which the Central Command (CENTCOM) of the US Armed Forces was recognized as a banned organization.

Now, all Pentagon members and related institutions and organizations are included in the number of terrorists.

Prior to this, the draft was approved by the Guardian Council of the Constitution of Iran – a body that checks bills for compliance with the country’s constitution and Islamic standards.

Recognition of an organization as terrorist means that it now has a special legal status. In other words, wartime laws can be used against terrorists instead of ordinary civil laws.

Thus, the Iranian armed forces have the right to attack the US armed forces anywhere in the world without any legal sanction from higher authorities.
