More than 30 supporters arrived at the court, unfurling posters at the main entrance calling for the release of Assange. On the other side of the courthouse, where the entrance gate is located, supporters and journalists are also on duty awaiting Assange’s arrival in court.

Assange is expected to attend a court session in person, during which he will testify as a victim in a case of alleged U.S. intelligence espionage conducted by a security company in the building of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.

Earlier, the lawyer of the Assange case in Spain, Aitor Martinez, told the reporters that, as part of international cooperation, the Spanish judge of the Spanish National Chamber will arrive at the Westminster court to receive Assange as a victim of an alleged espionage plot.

Earlier it was reported that the Spanish judge wanted to question Assange as a witness in the case of wiretaps, which was conducted by the Undercover Global security company in the building of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, but the British side had previously rejected this request. It was noted that employees of the Spanish company Undercover Global S. L., which was involved in guarding the Ecuadorian embassy from 2012 to 2018, according to investigators, were collecting information about Assange, his lawyers, assistants, and visitors.
