1. Sergei Lavrov proposed to fix the obligations of the countries on non-interference in each other’s affairs during the talks with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
2. Lavrov and Pompeo discussed “Ukrainian factor” in US election.
Lavrov said that Russia and the US are interested in a closer dialogue on the settlement in Libya, the countries cooperate on the situation in Yemen and on the Palestinian-Israeli settlement.
“We also talked about other hotbeds of tension in the Middle East, North Africa, where there are many of them. In particular, I think we have a common interest in closer dialogue on a Libyan settlement. We are also cooperating on the situation around Yemen. And, of course, it is very important to keep an eye on the Palestinian-Israeli settlement, which is frankly stalling and in critical condition”.
