Macron found NATO’s “brain death” words useful

French President Emmanuel Macron said his words about the “death of the brain” of the NATO Alliance were a useful signal for awakening. It is reported by Reuters.

He believes that his statement was primarily accepted by members of the alliance.

“My comment was a useful signal to draw the attention of the alliance”, –  Macron said.

Prior to this, the head of France said that NATO is in a coma, because coordination on strategic decisions between the United States and its allies in the North Atlantic Alliance is completely absent. In his opinion, at the moment, Europeans can no longer count on US military defense and are “on the edge of the abyss”.
