Ukrainian security forces fired on villages in the south of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic, while the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) was patrolling the area, the DPR People’s Police told the reporters on Thursday.
According to the department, the Ukrainian security forces fired from mortars, weapons of infantry fighting vehicles and grenade launchers at villages in the south of the DPR from 13.30 (the same as Moscow time).

“It is important to note that the shelling coincided with the start of the OSCE SMM movement from Sakhanka to Kominternovo (villages in the south of the DPR – ed.), which made it necessary to change the patrol route of the observers and immediately leave the area. These actions of the Ukrainian invaders clearly demonstrate complete disregard for life and health only civilians of Donbass, but also representatives of international organizations”, – said the representative of the People’s Police of the DPR.
