More than 3,000 foreign companies from 60 countries of the world are registered on the Crimean peninsula, despite the sanctions imposed by the West. This data is provided by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Crimea, Irina Kiviko.

According to her words, for the entire last year, 3,352 economic entities were registered in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, whose founders are foreign organizations and individuals from 60 countries. At the same time, in 2017, 2,419 legal entities were registered, which were foreign organizations from 56 countries. The number of foreign companies for the year increased by 39%.

It is noteworthy that these are mainly firms and individuals from Ukraine, as well as from Cyprus, Belarus, Armenia, Turkey, Germany, Great Britain, Israel and even the USA.

The co-chairman of “Business Russia”, Andrei Nazarov, noted that foreigners, as a rule, are interested in tourism, hotel business, wine-making and agriculture.

According to him, in order not to fall under the sanctions, international investors enter the Crimea not directly with their sign, but go through a two-tier investment system.
