Protesters scuffled with police outside the Kwai Chung police station in Hong Kong on Tuesday night, after dozens of protesters who were previously detained by authorities were charged with rioting.

Hong Kong police dispersed the crowds with batons and pepper spray outside the Kwai Chung police station. Several other protesters were arrested and brought inside the police headquarters.

Hong Kong has seen weeks of mass protests aimed against a bill which would allow the city to extradite residents to China for trials. Although the bill was suspended, protesters continue taking to the streets to demand the full withdrawal of the bill and the resignation of Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Carrie Lam.
