Russia’s Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev expects the joint intergovernmental declaration on cooperation in the area of modernization of economies between Russia and Luxembourg to be successfully implemented.
“There are quite a few such documents, and they were concluded during a much more favorable period of our relationship with EU countries. That works with some countries well and with others not very well. But that can work with our partners from Luxembourg as there is the wish to deal with it,” he said following the talks with his counterpart from Luxembourg Xavier Bettel when asked about the efficiency of that document’s implementation.
Medvedev added that the sides particularly “considered separate areas of how high-tech cooperation can be expanded.” “So it is all in our hands,” he noted.
Earlier on Wednesday the two countries approved the joint intergovernmental declaration on cooperation in the area of modernization of economies. Prime ministers of the two countries attended the signing ceremony after holding talks with participation of delegations from both countries.
