The visit of President Vladimir Putin, which Serbia expects on January 17, is the most important event in the world, Ivica Dačić, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, told RTS.
According to him, this is evident in the interest of the world media to the upcoming event, and above all, because speculations about the Russian position on the Kosovo issue regularly appear abroad.
“Serbia has friendly relations with Russia,” Dacic confirmed once again.
He added that President Alexandar Vucic regularly informs Moscow on the progress of the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
Vladimir Putin’s visit to Serbia is expected on January 17th. In Belgrade, maximum security measures will be taken. According to various sources, the Russian leader in the capital will be guarded by up to seven thousand policemen, and the traffic will be changed in the city. And in the air, the board will be accompanied by three MiG-29 of Air Forces of Serbia.
