The upcoming visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Serbia on January 17 is of great importance for this country, said Velko Odalovic, Secretary General of the Serbian Foreign Ministry.
“This is an important event, and about 20 agreements will be signed during the visit,” he replied.
“This is about the arrival of a big friend of Serbia. And from the point of security, as well as other aspects, we will do everything to adequately accept it,” Odalovic added.
In addition to official meetings, there will be public events during the visit. So, earlier Belgrade newspaper “Evening News” wrote that in front of the Temple of St. Sava Putin will meet 70,000 people.
