The President of Bolivia, Evo Morales, shortened his Independence Day speech in the Bolivian Parliament, which was planned for two hours, down to 30 minutes, due to the incessant cries of the opposition in Potosi, Monday.

“Bolivia said no,” protesters chanted during the Morales speech on the occasion of the 193rd anniversary of the independence of Bolivia.

The protest was in reference to the result of the referendum on February 21, 2016, which denied the qualification of Morales as candidate in the elections of October 2019.
