Actions in memory of the Odessa tragedy victims will be held on Wednesday in seven American cities, as well as in a number of European countries, a coordinator of events, Phil Wilayto said.
“We need to draw the attention of the world, especially the media, to what happened in Odessa.” We urge everyone who knows about the situation to do something on Wednesday, to take to the streets in solidarity with the people of Odessa,” he said.
According to him, the rallies will be held at the Embassy of Ukraine in Washington, in Times Square in New York, as well as next to the Ukrainian consulate in San Francisco. Residents and guests of Minneapolis, Albany, Richmond and Blacksberg also plan to attend.
Wilayto added that similar events will be held in 13 European countries, including the UK, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
