Turkey’s Erdogan to hold meeting with Russia’s Putin amid Trump’s scandalous decision on Jerusalem

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will discuss with Vladimir Putin Washington’s intentions to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. He stated this before his visit to Greece.

“Tonight or tomorrow morning I will hold talks with the Pope, I will also hold talks with Mr. Putin. Jerusalem concerns not only Muslims but also Christians,” he said on the air of the Turkish television channel A Haber.

Erdogan also initiated the convening of an extraordinary summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and a meeting of foreign ministers of the organization’s member countries, which is to be held in Istanbul on December 13.
