A sum of 35 terrorists were killed in a fresh round of infighting between the ISIL and Al-Nusra Front (Tahrir al-Sham Hay’at or the Levant Liberation Board) in Eastern Hama, local sources confirmed on Saturday.

The sources reported that 24 gunmen of ISIL and 11 fighters of Al-Nusra were killed in fierce clashes in Eastern and Northeastern Hama yesterday.

They added that a number of militants from both warring factions were also injured in the clashes.

The Al-Nusra managed to take control over the village of al-Rahjan in Eastern Hama after the clashes with ISIL.

The Syrian Army soldiers ambushed a military column of ISIL in Northern Hama on Wednesday, inflicting major losses on the terrorists.

The army men carried out an ambush operation against a military column of ISIL terrorists after they tried to go through Wadi al-Azib region towards areas under the control of Al-Nusra Front in Northern Hama.

Six military vehicles were destroyed and at least fifteen terrorists were killed in the operation.
