Russia will continue to be the guarantor of the agreements that must finally solve the Transnistrian problem in the interests of all people living on this territory, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“For our part, we will do everything necessary to settle the Transnistrian conflict, we have spoken about this many times. We will certainly be the guarantors of those agreements that can and should, in the end, appear in order to solve this problem once and for all, finally, in the interests of all people who live in this territory,” Putin said on Tuesday at a meeting with Moldovan President Igor Dodon.
In turn, Dodon expressed gratitude to the Russian leadership for the role in the settlement of the Transnistrian problem.
“We had several meetings with the leadership of Transnistria, we divide into two stages, there is a plan to solve current problems,” he said.
