The anti-Russian report of the Bulgarian government was blocked by the parliamentary Commission on Culture and Media. This was the result of an acute negative reaction of society and polemics, which broke out in the parliament of the country.
It should be recalled that the appearance of the report on the national security of Bulgaria for 2016 caused an angry reaction of the citizens of the country, since the document says that Russia is an external threat. Immediately after the text was voiced in parliament, the outrage of people splashed out in the social networks.
After an acute reaction of the public, the president of the country Rumen Radev also criticized the report.
“Our relations with Russia should not be a hostage to the interests of third parties, but clearly there are politicians in Bulgaria for whom our relations with Russia are never bad enough,” Radev said, hinting at the signing of the report by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov.
All this led to the fact that the deputies blocked the report, and the People’s Assembly will not put the document to the vote. Nevertheless, in social networks the organization of anti-government protests in several cities of the country continues, where citizens are preparing to take to the streets with slogans “Bulgaria loves Russia!”
