At least 17 people died as a result of an air attack by the United States in Raqqa. This is written by Life citing the agency Agence France Presse.

The American coalition, with the help of air strikes, helps the Syrian army to oust the ISIS* fighters from the territory they have captured.

According to the Syrian Human Rights Observatory, 38 civilians died as a result of the air attack two days earlier. Among the dead there are five children.

The United States stated that it would take all possible measures to prevent civilian casualties. Since 2014, as a result of air strikes in Syria and Iraq, 624 civilians have already died.

Despite the fact that tens of thousands of people left Raqqa, the UN has up to 25,000 civilians who remain in the city.
