Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic invited his Turkish colleague Recep Tayyip Erdogan to visit Serbia for at least three days to restore friendship between the nations. He said this on Monday, speaking at the plenary session of the world oil congress.

“We would like to invite you to visit our country – sorry that I express all this directly – to stay more than three days in Serbia, because then we could re-establish our friendship in a much better way. This is important for regional stability, peace and tranquility for all our peoples,” – he said.

In addition, Vucic also stressed that “Serbia expects that one of the threads of the Turkish flow will pass through Serbia and the Western Balkan countries.” “Such an opportunity is of interest to Serbia and other countries in the region,” – he said.
