The Security Service of Ukraine of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR) initiated two criminal cases on the article on terrorism in connection with the recent bombings in Luhansk, said at a briefing on Saturday Yevgenia Lubenko, the head of the press service of the LPR.

On July 7 in the center of Luhansk two explosions have thundered, one person was killed, seven were injured.

Andrei Marochko, the official representative of the Luhansk People’s Militia  said that the terrorist attacks were organized by Kiev. In his opinion, the explosions could be arranged on the day of the beginning of the G20 summit in Hamburg in order to disrupt the settlement process in the Donbass.

In turn, the Kiev side in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire said that the explosions in Luhansk are “another provocation” by the LPR in order to create an appropriate background when discussing the situation in the Donbass at the G20 summit.

“On the fact of committing terrorist acts on the territory of the Luhansk People’s Republic, the Ministry of State Security of the LPR  initiated two criminal cases,” Lubenko said.  According to her, as the main version, the agency is considering involvement in the incidents of Ukrainian special services.

“Currently, representatives of all law enforcement agencies are carrying out a complex of urgent investigative and investigative measures,” noted the head of the press service of the LPR Security Service.
