German police arrested three men with suspected ties to Islamic State in Berlin Tuesday, later raiding a local mosque known as a hotbed of extremism.

The men were suspected of planning an attack somewhere in Germany, according to Germany’s Bild news daily.

Police also raided Berlin’s “Fussilet” mosque, where the suspects are believed to have spent time. Anis Amri, an ISIS adherent who ran over 11 Germans at a Christmas market in December, was also know to frequent the mosque. Police raided the mosque in December shortly after Amri’s attack. ISIS recruiter Abu Walaa, known as the “faceless preacher,” is also believed to have frequented the mosque.
