Those who ordered a fake report on Russia’s alleged compromising material on US President-elect Donald Trump “are worse than prostitutes,” Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday.

“Prostitution is a serious ugly social phenomenon as young women engage in this also because they cannot provide a worthy life for themselves otherwise and this is largely the guilt of societies and the state. But people who order fakes like this [on the allegedly available compromising material on Trump, including on his alleged contacts with prostitutes] that are currently being spread against the US President-elect, are fabricating and using them in the political struggle. They are worse than prostitutes,” the Russian leader said after talks with Moldovan President Igor Dodon.

As Putin said, “They [who ordered such information] have no moral restraints whatsoever.”

Putin has dismissed as “obvious hoax” and “complete nonsense” reports on the Russia’s alleged compromising evidence onTrump.

Answering reporters’ questions after the talks with Moldova’s President Igor Dodon, the Russian leader commented on reports on Russia’s alleged compromising materials on Trump spread in the US. “I am not familiar with Trump, I’ve never met him. I don’t know what he is going to do on the international stage, so I have no reasons to attack him, criticize him for something or defend him one way or another. We will not even apply to the Nobel Committee to nominate him for the Nobel Prize in mathematics, physics or some other subject. I have no grounds for that whatsoever,” Putin said.

He described these reports as “an obvious hoax.”
