On the night of the 2nd January in the village of Basivka Pustomyty district, Lviv region the Museum “underground press Kryivka UPA” was burned down.
“Kryivka burned down completely. Probable cause of the fire is arson,” – said in the message.
Museum is located in the village of Basivka Pustomyty district, Lviv region, was opened on September 7, 2014, on the spot where on August 16, 1955 took place a battle between the UPA and NKVD detachments. There was an underground printing press of the rebels.
In the 70s Kryivka was found by the foresters and it was dismantled. Later in 2014, this place turned into Museum.
Recall that on January 1, Stepan Bandera marks 108th birthday. On this day in different parts of Ukraine were held torchlight processions.
