“The events which took place in February 2014 in Ukraine could be called a state coup. Ex-President Yanukovych had been ousted from power unconstitutionally”, Arbuzov said, adding that MPs were forced to vote for his resignation under the “threat of violence”.
According to him, representatives of the EU were interfering in the internal affairs of Ukraine, trying to impose the signing of the Association Agreement.
“I take it as a pressure since recommendations (on signing Association – Ed.) were quite intrusive”, said the witness.
Arbuzov said that he received threats from the “Right Sector” (banned in the Russian Federation), in which case he “had to take out (of the country – Ed.) his family”.
