Ukraine has decided to hold firing in the area of Simferopol, the sovereign airspace of Russia. It was reported by the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency.

‘In violation of all international agreements, Ukraine has unilaterally decided to conduct missile launches in the sovereign air space of the Russian Federation, the area of flight information «Simferopol»,’ stated the Russian aviation agency.

On Thursday, November 24, without an agreement with Moscow, Kiev issued an aviation notification of the activation of dangerous zones in the sky above Simferopol, due to missile launches planned for 1 and 2 December, 2016.

The Federal Air Transport Agency believes that such actions of the Ukrainian authorities violate the requirements of the Convention on International Civil Aviation of 1944, and pose a risk to civil aviation flights.
