Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, the leader of the Polish Peasant Party, has called for lifting the EU economic sanctions imposed on Russia.
“We will do everything possible to make our European deputies to unblock trade with Russia. I believe that our relations with Russia and Germany should be better than Germany’s relations with Russia because that will be a guarantee of security,” Kosiniak-Kamysz said in an interview with a televised program of the Polish national daily Rzeczpospolita.
The Polish Peasant Party has 16 mandates in the 460-seat Polish parliament. The party also has four representatives in the European Parliament.
