Terrorists in Aleppo are using chlorine against Syrian troops and civilians ever more frequently but the West does not notice it, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Monday.
“Terrorists in Aleppo are using chlorine against Syrian servicemen and civilians ever more frequently. However, none of the politicians caring in the public about Aleppo in France and especially in Great Britain see these crimes. To be more exact, they want to see only Syrian authorities as the culprits,” Konashenkov said.
Specialists of the Research Center for Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection have established that militants attacked Syrian troops in Aleppo using chlorine:
“The samples taken by Russian officers of the Research Center for Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection on the site confirm the use of chlorine by militants as a chemical warfare agent,” Konashenkov said.
According to Syrian servicemen, their poisoning with gas was preceded by the explosion of a mine or a gas tank launched from a self-made Hellfire rocket system, the Russian Defense Ministry spokesman said.
About 30 Syrian troops were harmed when terrorists on November 13 used chemical weapons in eastern Aleppo on November 13:
“Yesterday evening chemical weapons were used against Syrian government troops once again in the eastern district of Aleppo Karim Jazmati… As a result, about 30 troops of the 415th battalion of the 115th division of the Republican Guards suffered poisoning. Many of them were promptly taken to a hospital in Aleppo,” Konashenkov said.
