Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump has secured 140 electoral votes out of 270 needed for victory, and Democrat Hillary Clinton has 97 electoral votes, the Real Clear Politics polling data aggregator said.
Trump has gained certain victory in 15 states, while Clinton has picked up 9 states.
The fierce battle is underway in Ohio, Georgia and New Hampshire. The situation there constantly changes. Trump currently slightly leads in Florida, the battleground state with 29 electoral votes.
