The restoration of Russian-Polish political dialogue is possible on the basis of mutual respect and pragmatism, President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday.
“The condition of Russian-Polish relations can be hardly called satisfactory today. However, we believe that the restoration of the political dialogue is possible on the basis of mutual respect and pragmatism. And we are ready to make every effort to achieve this goal,” Putin said at a ceremony of accepting credentials from ambassadors.
Putin received credentials from the ambassadors from Greece, Poland, Finland, Luxembourg, Holland, Turkmenistan, New Zealand, Burundi, Colombia, Mali, Montenegro and the Federal Republic of Somalia as well as the Republic of Chad, The Gambia, Iceland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Equatorial Guinea, and the diplomatic representative of the Pope of Rome, papal nuncio.
