French President Francois Hollande said Ukraine needs to speed up reforms and hold elections in the east of the country.

Speaking Tuesday to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, Hollande said he’s ready to meet “at any moment” with German Chancellor

Angela Merkel, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

He didn’t specifically refer to a possible meeting between the four leaders in Berlin on Oct. 19, as floated by a Kremlin aide on Monday.
