The Syrian Arab Army’s Republican Guard forces launched a new assault in northern Aleppo on Friday, targeting the strategic Bustan Al-Basha District that was completely under Fatah Halab’s control.

Not long after launching their assault, the Syrian Armed Forces seized three imperative sites inside Bustan Al-Basha, marking their first advance in this strategic district since losing it in 2012.

According to a military source in the provincial capital of Aleppo, the Syrian Armed Forces captured the local church, garage, and tower inside Bustan Al-Basha after a fierce battle with the jihadist rebels of Fatah Halab.
