The leader of the party “Fatherland” Yulia Tymoshenko said that the residents of Lvov are disappointed with the politicians who came to power in Ukraine as a result of the Maidan. She said this on Monday, September 19, during a meeting of the Conciliation Board of the Verkhovna Rada.
According to Tymoshenko, she visited Lvov Book Forum, and talked to people in the shops and on the streets.
“I never saw such amount of tears, curses and despair. People say if the democratic forces that are in power now are not able to run the country, then let they go away and the “the criminal power” will come back, at least it was better then”, said the leader of the “Fatherland”.
Tymoshenko said that Ukrainians consider the current policy of Kiev as systematic and informed genocide. “If such thoughts are in Galicia, you can imagine the thoughts of people in other regions”, she added.
