Aleppo, Syria (4:00 P.M.) – The Syrian Arab Army continued their advance in the southern sector of Aleppo on Monday, targeting the 1070 Al-Hamdaniyah Housing Project and Al-‘Amariyah District.
Led by the Tiger Forces and Liwaa Al-Quds (Palestinian paramilitary), the Syrian Armed Forces stormed the eastern sector of the Al-‘Amariyah District, capturing several building blocks after a fierce battle with Jaysh Al-Fateh (Army of Conquest).
According to a military source in southern Aleppo, the Syrian Armed Forces managed to capture 40 percent of the Al-‘Amariyah over the last 72 hours, leaving a little more than half of the district left under jihadist control.
Meanwhile, at the 1070 Housing Project, the Syrian Armed Forces targeted the remaining buildings under Jaysh Al-Fateh’s control, along with the nearby Al-Hikmah School.
No gains were reported from the 1070 Housing Project; however, the attack does not seem to be over, despite the looming ceasefire.
