Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Renaissance party Anton Cisse has supported the idea of restoration of economic relations between Ukraine, Russia and the CIS countries.
Cisse called on the Cabinet and the Verkhovna Rada to work on this initiative, because currently Ukraine has no other choice. According to the People’s Deputy, when losing Russian market Ukraine could not fit into the realities of the European trade.
“The European market can not satisfy us. There is a well-established economic potential, which, I believe, they are developing quite effectively. And especially nobody will let someone to get to their market”, said the MP.
Cisse said that a free trade zone with the European Union hasn’t compensate for economic losses of Ukraine from rupture of trade relations with Russia. People’s Deputy noted that Ukraine needs to restore its former markets, where Ukrainian products were in demand.
