The Russian and Syrian fighter jets destroyed the terrorists’ positions along Hama-Idlib highway.
The terrorists’ military positions were also flattened in the towns of Mourek, Khan Sheikhoun, Souran, Helfaya and Taybat al-Imam.
Scores of terrorists were killed and wounded in the Russian and Syrian airstrikes in Hama province.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Syrian army sent a large number of fresh forces to strategic regions in the Northern part of Hama province.
“Hundreds of well-trained soldiers have arrived in the countryside of the town of Qamhana to join the Syrian army troops and help them in the upcoming military operation against the terrorists aimed at retaking more strategic lands in Hama province that have been recently lost to the militants,” informed battlefield sources said.
Also on Wednesday, the Syrian air force heavily pounded the gathering centers and fortifications of Jeish al-Fatah terrorist group in the Northern part of Hama province, inflicting heavy losses on them.
At least three military bases, four vehicles and seven machinegun-equipped military vehicles of the terrorist groups were destroyed in Ma’adres, Souran, Halfaya, al-Tamaneh and Northern part of Ma’an as well as Bazam hilltop and Nahr al-Assi.
Meantime, the Syrian army and popular forces repelled an attempt by terrorists to attack the two towns of Ma’an and Kefra’a in the Northern Hama, inflicting heavy losses on them in immediate counterattacks.
Over 30 terrorists were killed and many more wounded in fierce clashes with the Syrian army in the battle with the Syrian army and popular forces.
Elsewhere, other army units also thwarted an attack by terrorists on the village of Jubain, killing over 65 militants.
Three tanks, a BMP vehicle and four machine-gunned vehicle were also destroyed in the Syrian army counterattack in Northern Hama.
