“After midnight the ceasefire regime has been generally holding. There was some small arms [use] in the Donetsk direction,” Basurin said on Thursday morning.

A new ceasefire regime came into force in Donbas on September 1. The ceasefire agreement was reached between Ukraine’s conflicting sides during a Contact Group meeting in August.

A Thursday Facebook statement posted by the press center of Kiev’s military operation in Donbass accused the militia in the southeast of over two dozen ceasefire violations, without specifying their exact time.
