Poland has taken a wait and see stance on Ukraine, trying to understand how the country has changed after Maidan.
That was stated by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Andrey Deshchitsa who chanted obscene chants at the camera during a pogrom of the Russian embassy in Kiev.
“I think fatigue of Ukraine could be felt. I have the impression that Polish society now has such a state… Not like that which was 2 years ago – there was such an excitement, a large volunteer movement in support of Ukraine. But now there’s a feeling that Poland is waiting – whether there had been complete changes in Ukraine, whether there was a turning point in Ukraine’s transition to a new quality, or otherwise everything could turn back. Therefore, no one wants to borrow some clear position”, said Deshchitsa.
