“Today the delegation led by Lavrov is heading to Geneva where tomorrow the talks with John Kerry will be held,” the diplomat said. “The focus will be on the Syrian settlement, including the prospects of establishing close coordination of actions in the fight against terrorist groups now active in Syria,” Zakharova said.

The sides may discuss other international issues, including the Ukrainian crisis and topical issues of bilateral agenda, she said.
