The Syrian warplanes destroyed the terrorists’ military positions and gathering centers near Arak oilfield to the West of the ancient city of Palmyra (Tadmur) in Eastern Homs.
Scores of ISIS terrorists were killed and wounded in the Syrian air raids while their military hardware also sustained heavy losses.
The Syrian air force also targeted the ISIS terrorists’ hideouts in the villages of Manoukh and Unq al-Hawa in Jeb al-Jarah area in the Eastern part of Homs province, destroying their military positions and vehicles.
The Syrian air force destroyed ISIS military vehicles, some equipped with machineguns.
Meantime, three vehicles equipped with heavy machine guns were also destroyed in Um Sahreej village.
The Syrian fighter jets also destroyed the missile launchpads and machinegun-equipped vehicles of the terrorists at a position North of Quaryatayn Dam in Southwestern Homs province.
In a relevant development on Monday, the Syrian army continued its advances in Homs as tough battle was underway in the vicinity of Arak oilfield in the Eastern part of the province.
The army units hit hard the ISIS terrorists in the surrounding areas of Arak oilfield in the Eastern part of Homs province.
The Syrian army also destroyed two military vehicles and many gatherings of al-Nusra Front in Um Sharshouh, Talbiseh and Tal al-Rous in Homs province.
In a relevant development on Saturday, the Syrian army continued its military advances in the Eastern part of Homs province, inflicting heavy losses on the terrorist groups in the region.
The army units destroyed the military positions of the ISIL terrorists in the villages of Sallam Gharbi and Unq al-Hawa in Eastern Homs province.
The Syrian army also destroyed the arms depot of the terrorists in Kafar Laha’a in Northern Homs province, FNA reported.
