“Islamic state’s” (banned in Russia) armed formations are expanding military might, stocking up with arms and ammunition near Palmyra.

In the area of the village of Arak, 28 kilometers away from Palmyra militants use graders to pave the road between the reference points for the freedom of movement. Every day, small groups of terrorists are committing attacks on government troops trying to feel out the weaknesses in the defense of the Syrian army.

SAA troops are ready: with the support of the people’s militia groups they develop firing field fortification around the ancient city.
