According to the survey of the Slovenian newspaper “Delo”, a slight superiority of “remaining in EU” supporters still observed in the country. The data has dramatically decreased since the time of the country’s accession to the EU, and “Slo-exit” is popular among young people.




For the European Union stands 60% of two million inhabitants of Slovenia, despite the fact that during a referendum in 2003 for European Integration spoke out nearly 90% of voters. Less than half – 44% rated positively the EU influence on the situation in Slovenia.


It is noted that for an exit from the EU in a referendum would have voted every second from 18 to 24 years age group. This resulted the youth unemployment and discontent with a current policy: people believe that the EU is responsible for the reduction of jobs in the country.
