“Unfortunately, the results of the referendum in the Netherlands have proved to be unfavorable to Ukraine. We respect the will of the citizens of the Netherlands. We understand that this referendum is only advisory in nature, though it is an extremely disturbing signal to Ukraine,” Groysman wrote on Facebook on Thursday.

At the same time, he stressed it is important for Ukraine not to stop on its path towards European integration and to analyze mistakes.

“There is only one way for us to defend our European future – we need to work on improvements and to give clear signals both to the citizens of Ukraine and the international community that we are steadily moving along the path of European reforms. Deeds rather than words can be a convincing argument. I believe in a united Europe, I believe that Ukraine will become part of this unity, in spite of the difficulties we are living through now and the challenges faced by our European friends,” Groysman said.
