Ukraine does not have enough natural gas to get through the current winter heating season, Russian Energy Minister Aleksander Novak said.

The minister expressed the opinion once again that if Kiev had money it would not abandon purchases of gas from Moscow.

“We don’t receive a single cubic meter of Russian gas, and at the same time we have seen that the temperature was low. We can provide enough gas to all the consumers in Ukraine without Russia,” RBC cited the deputy head of Naftogaz, Yuri Vitrenko, as saying.
