Ukrainian forces shelled the positions of the LPR people’s militia near the village of Maryevka yesterday, the deputy chief of the LPR people’s militia headquarters Colonel Igor Yashchenko told the Lugansk Information Center.

“The situation in the Lugansk People’s Republic is becoming aggravated. At 17:20 on November 15, Ukrainian forces shelled our positions near Maryevka from the direction of Zolotoye. The shelling was conducted with small arms. Besides, at the same time and in the same place, an armoured personnel carrier of the Ukrainian forces was moving from flank to flank and released flares. This is pure provocation. The OSCE representatives and the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of ceasefire issues should be informed about this incident. No casualties among the LPR servicemen have been recorded,” – Igor Yashchenko said.
